Looks like a picture from a plane. However it was just a few miles up Bogus Basin road on Wednesday.

An awesome picture of where the tree line is and why. Sub alpine boundary. Take another pic from the same perspective in the midst of summer and you’ll see the same demarcations, except with smog replacing the fog, just not as exagerated.
I love the way it came out, almost monochrome, with just a hint of blue.
