Tablerock Brew Pub-Chapter 7

July 14th, 2008

The Dailey news is reporting this sadness. This isn’t much fun.

Mike Fitzgerald and his crew are among the best.

IDAHO STATESMAN is reporting that the brewing company is the business affected by the filing. They say the pub should not be affected by the Chapter 7 filing.

  2. Dr. Dave Says:

thanks ray. I was kind of confused about the whole ordeal.
does that mean no more micro-brewskies?

yo Day… just got back from a vacation and see this… and i’m not at all surprised… the last two visits Lee and i made to eat and drink there were disappointing… the food was bland and tasteless.. was that redundant??…. the beer was just so-so… gone are the old days when the food was always good, JP, Eddie, Frankie behind the bar and Sherrill running the place impecably… oh well… living on your rep only goes so far … bebop

Garzone, not sure you read this one quite right. Not that your opinions about service and quality are wrong, just that this filing is about a mothballed bottling operation and not the brewpub. And it’s not a huge filing, considering Fitzgerald’s other assets. Brewpubs face their own challenges, but that’s a different matter. (p.s. Why do I never hear someone bellyache about how much things sucked in the old days, and how much better they are now that new faces are in charge? Perhaps we confuse our own salad days with those of the establishments we visit.)

  5. Garzone Says:

yeah the old times DID suck… gas was under $2, there was a Belgian Triple on tap every so often, the place didn’t look like a ‘Busters-sports-bar-wannabee’ and the smiling face of Terry Dennis, their once ace brewmaster was always there…
