Sunday drive
April 8th, 2008
Took a run to Prairie, deep up into the Boise river drainage. It was stunningly beautiful.

We Idahoans are so blessed.
Along the short forty mile drive from the freeway on Blacks Creek road, fortress basalt cliffs guard blue sky laced with clouds. Soon IÂ passed a car that sits waiting for a “couple” parts and spring. Even a flat tire couldn’t damage this trip.

Take the time this month to take a run out of town. Doesn’t matter: east, west, north or south. Just get off the freeway.

You got a point , just get off the freeway. Find the less traveled road , be it gravel or dirt and be hold the true Idaho will show her most beautiful self. BTW : Nice shots David - - The car is excellent !

Nice photos
I like to get away from my ‘micro-managed’ reality sometimes.

Heading to the Owyhees all weekend, though Mud Flat Road may live up to its name after that storm. Some free copy writing for the car photo:
Welcome to Idaho
Hope you can stay for a while
Print that out as a poster and start cashing checks.

Nice photo - love these ones that let the viewer create the story. Does make a person want to hit the roads of Idaho! (And I agree about the poster…)
