Lisa Villano
June 28th, 2007
Downtown Boise is sad tonight. Good friend Lisa Villano has passed way to young.
Lisa’s big smile and hearty laugh are gone.
As with so many others I was blessed to call her my friend. She will be sorely missed.
There is a memorial in the works, most likely July 9th at the Rose Room

Lisa was one of the highlights on my delivery route when I delivered bread for Zeppole. Always smiling and had such great energy. Rest in Peace Lisa.

Lisa Villano gave me my first reall job, managing the CW Moore location of Villanos during my highschool summers. I loved working for her, and looked forward to work (even though it started at 6:00 AM) every day. Rest in peace Lisa. Pesto mayo and dijon will never taste quite the same.

This is indeed very sad news for me. I knew Lisa when she became my high school teacher in Stevenson, Washington. Not too many people knew she was a home ec teacher for one year when she was a mere 24 years old (she quit after that). While she was my teacher, she was also my friend and I stayed in contact with her for years after high school. It was just dumb luck that my family happened to live in Boise when she opened Villano’s Deli but I was pleased to get together with her and see what she’d been up to. Boise has lost a very wonderful warm woman.
God speed Lisa, you were loved.

Lisa was a bridesmaid in my wedding in 1977 - after being sorority sisters at U of I. She was so alive and vivacious. I hope all who loved her are able to find some peace at her loss. She was a good friend many years ago.

I am married to Lisa’s sister Monica and on behalf of the family I want to thank you for your kind words - keep them coming. Lisa was a wonderful person who brightened everyone’s day!! She was Aunt Lisa to 10 nephews and 2 nieces and it will take time to mend these 12 broken hearts. She was sister Lisa to Chris, Monica and Paula and their life will not be the same without her. She was “sister-brother” to Mark - they loved each other so much. She was Paul and Shirley Villano’s first born and precious daughter and they will miss her sooo much. Finally, she was a friend to so many in so many places - she left her mark where ever she lived and worked. Rest in Peace, Lisa - your spirit lives in us ………
