The benefit for Bill’s Benefit was so wonderful last night. The Rose Room was awash with warmth and good Karma. I’m guessing that over $2000.00 was raised.
Thanks you to everyone that came. A special thanks to the musicians and folks who donated and bid on the silent action.
I will keep this on the top of the page for the week!!!!
Scroll down for new stories on Jackpot and the desert.
Here is the ad for Bill. Thanks to Jo, Monica and Ken for all the help. If you would like to have a PDF of this let me know.

In the high desert on both sides of the Nevada-Idaho border. The classic battle between winter and spring is underway. The fading browns of winter are ever so slowing shifting to the greens of summer.

Friday night at the HorseShu in Jackpot!
Generations of the Day clan gathered to celebrate Andrew and Ellissa’s twenty first B-Day.
What a sight, with 8 Day’s and couple of Jacob’s and one Blade for luck we had all bases covered for hours at the Black Jack table. The family fortune and reputation was at stake. Fortunately the beginners brought luck. Aces flew at young Andrew and Liss showed signs of both her Gramma’s style.
Many a Day played throughout the night. Lissa closed the Shu somewhere near Daylight. That’s my girl!
Can’t wait for Jessica to reach 21!

What a cool band they have at South Junior High. Band teacher Dennis Keck is allowing his students to enjoy music. It showed when the Blues In The Schools crew showed up on Thursday last. This time Nancy McIntosh provided her powerful vocals to Richard Soliz’s guitar and Mr. Harris’s harmonica and keys. Folks we are getting this program together. The combination of just a little instruction combined with lots of playing with the professionals is powerful. As I have said before, it is so satisfying to see these young men and women respond to The BLUES.
Take a look at 7th Grader Eddie, finding the grove with Richard.

Headed out of town for the weekend, to teach a couple of twenty one years a bit about gambling. Expect a new Blues in the Schools story Sunday. For now how about a nice picture.

…as for the comment I made about signing papers with Citadel, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY STATIONS AT 15TH AND BANNOCK!!! So stop the rumor mill now. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!Nothing to do with Magic (which by the way is sounding great) Nothing to do with Eagle and Bob and Tom (which I listen to as a listener now … love em) This has to do with another Citadel market.
