Er, shall we call that High Desert Springtime instead? The Rocky Mountains aren’t all that far away, but they are a wildly different ecosystem than the one you’ve captured so well in this photo. This shot makes me want to go hiking in the Owyhees.
Do I see the Charles and Laura Ingall’s family coming over the hillside?
