Bar Death watch-Big Easy

The Big Easy has sold. Details are pretty stecthy. Not sure if this is a “good” deal or a bad one. My guess, the Thortons may have been tired of the whole thing.

Can’t say as I am sorry to see them go. When does Bravo pull out of town? That would be the good news.

How can you hate the folks that brought us ‘HellesBelles’-the all-girl AC/DC tribute band? Or the singer from Squeeze on a SOLO tour (played in the bar upstairs) or….well, at least they brought some cool shows to town. Too bad they created so much bad blood in the process. Ahhh….the joys of bar ownership in the new century.
